Oscar Fox
Oscar Fox is a London-based filmmaker whose work explores landscape and subculture. Seemingly hyperreal, surreal and ever-so everyday, his film Where the Hand of Man Hath Never Trod documents Richard Elliot, the UK’s longest-living letterboxer and his lifelong engagement with Dartmoor’s hidden stamp boxes. Combining film with supporting publications archiving Elliot’s stamps and writings, Oscar preserves a unique community practice with sensitivity and detail.
