Ruth Kent
Ruth Kent is an Irish textile designer based in London, working at the joyous crossroad where craft and design intersect. A graduate of Central Saint Martins with a specialism in weaving, her practice explores colour and its translation across woven textiles, printed silks, publications and even paper garments. Influenced by early morning walks (and the power of libraries too) her work embraces experimentation and collaboration, creating tactile worlds that balance tradition with playful subversion, culminating in something that feels ultimately timeless.
