Sohee Chae
In her work made during the RCA’s Masters in Visual Communication, Sohee Chae – a brand and graphic designer based between London and Seoul – explores poetic, emotionally resonant systems. Her project Letting Go In The Cycle uses chance processes – dice, prompts, and aleatory graphics – to revive sensory experience dulled by modern repetition. Inspired by Hans Arp and John Cage, she extends – and, indeed, invites – randomness into contemporary design, balancing branding with experimental, narrative-driven practice.
