Eloise Knight

Investigating object memory and impermanence, Frinton-on-Sea-based artist Eloise Knight distorts, melts and conflates vintage porcelain figurines. In doing so, she creates eerie scenes of otherworldly landscapes and unusual figures, reflecting the fragmented nature of memory. Speaking to her own family experiences of dementia, her oil pantings exist at an intersection between real-life and fiction – highlighted through the use of wooden panels as canvases.
