Jude Whippey

Using digital and analogue processes, Jude Whippey’s practice spans graphic design, illustration and photography, where they explore themes of memory, belonging and cultural identity. As a queer Filipino immigrant, their personal identity sits at the heart of their practice, serving as a visual diary that responds directly to emotion and their lived environment. Jude draws inspiration from flora, fauna, archival imagery, science fiction and zine culture, culminating in reflective, hopeful work that invites viewers to connect with their own histories and imagined futures.
