Luise Schaller

There is a fantastic fuzziness to Berlin-based artist and illustrator Luise Schaller’s work, whose mix of analogue drawing, oil pastels and experimental printmaking makes for messy, immersive illustrations – punctuated with the smudges and errors that make them so distinct. In her books, she explores themes of home and departure, capturing emotional atmospheres through sequential drawing.
