Sanaa Lee

Informed by her heritage, Bristol-based visual artist Sanaa Lee uses staged documentary photography and medium format film to explore Asian diaspora identity. With an uncanny, familiar quality to it, Sanaa’s collaborative portraiture highlights underrepresented voices and generational stories embedded within local environments, resulting in a body of work that feels intimate and deeply rooted in place.
