Sarah Gaveau

With a focus on art direction, identity and editorial design, Angers-based designer Sarah Gaveau uses texture and type to create work that is pragmatic and emotionally engaging in equal measure. Her project, Paloma, speaks to this approach. The conceptual brand drew inspiration from the Mediterranean seaside that it fictionally resides upon. Playing into archival, nostalgic imagery – reminiscent of one’s memories of holidays – Sarah’s restrained visual system uses cyanotype-style aesthetics and type as an expressive layer that introduces the brand’s character.
