Changsha-based illustrator Sian Wei translates ordinary experiences, conversations and memories into visual narratives across painting and comics. Using mixed media and playful constraints – such as reimagining Ikea assembly instructions as graphic novels, or building stories from found words – her work highlights the emotional weight of fleeting moments.
