We’re big fans of weird and wonderful illustration that submerses us in the surreal, but often image-makers have to regin it in when they’re working in a commercial context. That’s why we’re equally impressed when we come across a project for a big-name company that combines skill and charm with the inherent pressures of working on this type of campaign. Step forward Caroline Selmes and this project for Vodafone which takes us on a whistlestop tour of seven European destinations. The French born, Barcelona-based illustrator clearly knows a thing or two about globetrotting, and about colour, composition and attention to quirky detail. Lovely.
