Denmark-born Dan Solbach’s simple but mindful designs
Born in Denmark, raised in Switzerland and based in Berlin, Dan Solbach’s work marries influences from the all three. His minimal approach, with its touches of the absurd and the hand-drawn, embodies aspects of the Scandinavian furniture he grew up with and the modernist Swiss design he studied in Basel. Simple but mindful, experiments with collage and drawing make their way into his stripped-back designs for book covers and posters, which are often aligned with art-based projects.
