For our final look at the British Fashion Council’s International Fashion Showcase takes us to Belgium, land of chocolate, mayonnaise on chips and lazy stereotypes. It’s also home to a.KNACKFUSS, an innovative fashion house whose latest spring/summer line is inspired by the German writer Karl May (aka D.Jam, the name of the collection). He wrote many tales set in the American old West despite only visiting these places towards the end of his life, and this combination of pioneering spirit and imagination is suffused through the line. Bravo Belgium!
