Lauren Lancaster: Super Tuesday

Yesterday was Super Tuesday in the US. It’s the day when the greatest number of states hold “primary elections to select delegates to national conventions at which each party’s presidential candidates are officially nominated” (thank you Wikipedia) – so basically it is enormously exciting and totally baffling and indications say it’ll be Ron Perlman look-a-like, Mitt Romney who will be up against Obama. Coming out of the build-up, photographer Lauren Lancaster was on the Republican Presidential candidates trail for the New Yorker, check out her sharply wry shots of the whole shebang below.
