Marion Ichard’s animation tells the mischievous tale of a man with a hair fetish

In Marion Ichard’s animation, her characters give in to their devilish impulses and secret desires resulting in some hilarious consequences involving a pair of scissors. Currently a student at French film and animation school La Poudrière, Marion tells the tale of a man with a hair fetish who goes around cutting off unsuspecting mademoiselles’ hair to add to his coiffured collection.

Marion’s style of long-limbed figures in sparse, outlined backgrounds works perfectly with the funny nuances and subtle details she’s included. Attrac’tif is just over a minute but the narrative is well-paced and considered. One of the best parts is the climax where the main character meets his match after bumping into his next victim; a buxom lady who isn’t so easily distracted as his previous conquests. We won’t spoil it, but the ending is unexpected, hilarious and a little bit out there.
