Graphic designer, animator, director and filmmaker Lucas Zanotto has a host of interdisciplinary skills under his belt. At October’s Nicer Tuesdays, we got a glimpse into the wondrous creative mind of the Helsinki-based polymath, touring his extensive portfolio of work from his kinetic sculptures, animated loops, advertising work, not to mention his own initiative creating playful tools to inspire kids, Yatatoy.

If you’re interested in how someone makes the successful transition from working in 2D to 3D (and traversing between the two from then on) this insightful talk is bound to have a host of tips and creative musings to take into consideration. Shining a light on his conceptual and technical processes to date, Lucas’ Nicer Tuesdays talk is as inspiring in content as it is hypnotically relaxing to watch. Enjoy!
