A peek at Patrick Kyle's new publication Distance Mover

Date
12 September 2014

Double dose of good news here for fans of magic wand-fingered artist Patrick Kyle. He’s got a new publication out! It’s called Distance Mover and it looks incredible. “It’s a science fiction comic that follows the exploits of a character called Mr Earth and his flying machine the Distance Mover, a vehicle capable of moving great distances at fantastic speeds!” Patrick told us.

“Mr Earth lives on an enormous alien planet teeming with diverse populations that, due to the planet’s immense size, rarely co-mingle. Of Course, Mr Earth can travel to any of these civilisations in his Distance Mover, and he does in order to observe the planets diverse citizens and ensure their well-being. Despite his benevolence, there are plenty of unsavoury characters who want to put Mr Earth out of the picture and get their hands on the Distance Mover for their own selfish endeavours!”

188 pages of pure, unadulterated Patrick Kyle – what more could you want? Oh yes, the other good news, Patrick is about to set off on a comic book tour of the US with Simon Hanselmann and Michael DeForge. Bad luck for anyone that isn’t in America (me) but for those that are you can check out the tour dates here.
