When Mr. Cuttance got in touch to share his project of “handmade faceted vessels”, I must admit I didn’t really know what that meant. But one look through his portfolio cast my confusion aside – I may not know much about the world of fractal vaseware, but I’m certainly privy to the slam-dunk power-combo of bright colour and unusual form. Phil creates his range of decorative objects (which includes a set of lampshades and side tables as well) through a laborious process carried out on an amazing contraption he calls the “FACETURE machine.” Click through to see the video.
