It turns out the Proms isn’t all Bach and Beethoven as this Aussie comedy quintet proved on Friday night. The Spaghetti Western Orchestra have a unique take on the music of legendary film composer Ennio Morricone and involves the inventive use of cereal packets and asthma inhalers, among other instruments. This clip is taken from Later… with Jools Holland back in 2009 but for UK viewers the whole BBC Proms performance at The Royal Albert Hall is available on iPlayer until Friday. Enjoy.
