Archive flyers from 35 years of iconic Italian nightclub Tenax

Date
14 December 2016

Iconic Italian nightclub opened in 1981 and soon became a landmark venue for hosting cutting edge DJs across punk, new wave and house movements, not to mention the likes of Grace Jones and Radiohead over the years. The Florence-based club’s renowned residency, Nobody’s Perfect, has also seen a star-studded list of DJs take to its decks, and is celebrating its 35th birthday this Saturday 17 December with a massive party, of course.

Meanwhile the club has delved into its graphic design archives and meticulously scanned and shared a heap of brilliant flyers and invitations with us, shown exclusively here on It’s Nice That. All designed by Roberto Zimmile, head print and textile designer at Salvatore Ferragamo, they advertise its famed Nobody’s Perfect night with raw illustrative style and energetic use of typography. Enjoy!
