Since relocating from Barcelona to Berlin, it’s been a prolific year for graphic artist par excellence Patrick Thomas. His exhibition at Woodbridge & Rees followed on sharply from the publication of his second book, the pragmatically titled Protest Stencil Toolkit. His famous Che series has now sold out but there are plenty of other great prints. My favourites are the War & Peace series – characteristic in their simplicity – It takes a really bold graphic artist to deliver ideas that are so direct and seemingly obvious. Thomas’ work is still very affordable and an excellent investment in an artist who’s stature will only continue to grow.
