Yosuke Yamaguchi

Date
14 November 2011

Don’t let this odd, yellow picture put you off, Yosuke Yamaguchi is nothing short of being an incredible illustrator. He has that skill of making his images seem off-the-cuff, when in fact if you look closely you realise that they are predominantly inks (difficult) and watercolours (very difficult). His blog is a real treat; most of it’s in Japanese which means most of us have no choice but to concentrate on the pictures, and there is so much content you could easily scroll open-mouthed for hours. Apart from his huge skills, what clinched it for me was the name of his blog – a blunt request – ‘take me to the airport.’
