To mark the launch of Printed Pages AW16, It’s Nice That took the magazine out on tour. The team visited three British cities throughout November hosting talks and workshops. In Birmingham’s Ikon gallery sculptor Wilfrid Wood ran a workshop where participants sculpted plasticine portraits under the watchful eye of the artist. In Bristol’s Arnolfini gallery a packed room gathered to hear talks from It’s Nice That, artist Sophy Hollington, photographer Jane Stockdale and Wilfrid. Rounding off the tour we headed to Islington Mill in Manchester for a day-long workshop hosted by the It’s Nice That team that explored the process of designing front covers for publications.

Here, you can see a film of highlights from the trip. Thanks to everyone who came to each event – it was fantastic to meet so many of you! Also, the support of the venues that welcomed us and from Squarespace, who helped make the tour possible, is much appreciated.

Keep your eyes peeled for more It’s Nice That events throughout 2017. There are limited numbers of Printed Pages available to buy here, get it while you still can!
