Printed Pages On Tour: apply for tickets now!

To celebrate the launch of the Autumn/Winter 2016 issue of Printed Pages, It’s Nice That is hitting the road for a series of talks and workshops around the UK. With the kind support of Squarespace, we will be visiting Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester throughout November, bringing with us a number of contributors to the latest issue.

In Birmingham we will be hosting a sculpture workshop with Wilfrid Wood; in Bristol we will hosting an evening of talks with a series of contributors to the magazine will offer an insight into their work and processes; and in Manchester It’s Nice That will be hosting a creative workshop that will bring together the many disciplines that are included in the issue.

Further details for each event can be found below, the magazine is available in shops now and if you order direct from Company of Parrots, you will also receive two limited edition prints, a set of postcards featuring work from the issue, and a set of stickers.

Saturday 12 November
Birmingham Ikon Gallery
Workshop led by Wilfrid Wood
1pm – 4pm

Sculptor Wilfrid Wood, who produced a new body of work depicting the heroes and villains of Rio 2016 for the issue, will host a workshop for 20 participants. Wilfrid will be on hand to offer help and tips as you create a bust of a loved one out of plasticine.

Bristol at Arnolfini
A series of short talks by contributors Wilfrid Wood, Sophy Hollington, Jane Stockdale and It’s Nice That
6.30pm – 9pm

Four punchy presentations by our invited speakers and the It’s Nice That team will expand of the creative process behind the work seen in the magazine. Join us for an evening of inspirational talks covering sculpture, photographer, print making and magazine design followed by drinks.
