Visual Editions and Google’s Creative Lab launch Editions at Play

Editions at Play, the experimental publishing venture by Visual Editions and Google’s Creative Lab has launched today. Publishing “unprintable books”, or rather books that are dynamic and shift whilst you read, that mutate or disappear and progress via a series of challenges. The project’s first books are Entrances & Exits by Reif Larsen and The Truth About Cats & Dogs by Joe Dunthorne and Sam Riviere, with further works available from April.

The identity, which we covered last year, was designed by Universal Everything and inspired by “books on a shelf and binary code.”
