Mariana Fernandes: Lost Angeles

Italian design and research centre Fabrica has taken over a Los Angeles billboard with a new work by Portuguese designer and illustrator Mariana Fernandes. Entitled Lost Angeles, the image is inspired by the LA lifestyle – “the palm trees, the sun, the stars and all of the glamorous ways to get lost,” according to Ace Hotel DTLA, where the billboard is cited. The creative billboard takeovers are part of a partnership between Ace Hotel and WeTransfer. The board will go on to feature a series of works by different artists.
