Illustrators including Jez Burrows and Michael Jeter have created bespoke images for Facebook, allowing social networkers to use the images for private events created on the site. The imagery is targeted for Facebook mobile users, and 36 themes are included in the initial roll-out including family, seasons, holiday, food and drink, party, recreation and travel. Jez is an illustrator in-house at Facebook, and external agency Eight Hour Day has also created designs for the project. New designs will be added to the list over the coming months, according to the social network behemoth.
