London-based photographer Tom Oldham decided to spend the longest day of the year (Monday this week) photographing a different Londoner every hour for 24 hour results. The result is a charming body of work that paints a portrait of the capital and the people who live and work there, and prove that it is very much a city that never sleeps. Each images is thoughtfully composed and full of character, depicting a huge variety of people from a butcher at 2am, to American car wash staff at 3am, gay club revellers at midnight at east London’s Dalston Superstore and a lady practising yoga at 5am.
