Deadline extension for entries to the 20th annual Webby Awards

The Webby awards has extended the deadline for entries, which means there is still time to submit projects for the awards.

Dubbed “the internet’s highest honour” by The New York Times, the Webbys’ mission is to recognise “excellence on the internet” across websites, advertising and media, online film and video, mobile sites and apps, and social. This year sees a new a suite of new advertising features categories such as best art direction, brand strategy, best user interface, technical achievement, and new virtual reality categories. Last year saw 344 awards selected from nearly 13,000 entries from over 60 countries worldwide.

The awards ceremony takes place in New York City in May and hosts 1,000 winners, influential industry executives and celebrities. Past winners and attendees include founders and executives from Google, Twitter, Tumblr, Microsoft, Funny or Die and some of the most prominent advertising agencies in the world.

The final entry deadline for 2016 is 29 January. You can submit now at www.webbyawards.com
