Lu Fraser
Lu Fraser is an illustrator and comic artist based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Their practice offers a space where environmental and social justice, transness and ecological systems can meet. Working primarily with Risographic zines and comics, Fraser translates academic or complex themes into accessible, textural visual narratives – feeling both crude and piercingly prodigious. Influenced by artists like Leomi Sadler and writers such as Astrida Neimanis, they draw inspiration from water, slime and metamorphosis to create print works that provoke conversation and engagement – all whilst wearing heart and humour on their sleeves.
