Leeds-based graphic designer Kian Cox investigates typographic systems with technical precision, and gives them a tactile and buoyant quality. As a result, while drawing directly from utilitarian design principles, his practice is plush with character and detail – he’s aware of the rules and knows how to subvert them. In creating super structured visual identities, Kian incorporates subtle physical textures, bringing an organic, imperfect edge to pixel-perfect digital spaces.
