Nina Stürner

Communication designer Nina Stürner explores the relationship between typography and interaction, questioning how we read and interpret type. Moving from static layouts to animated and parametric type, she uses design to explore social dynamics such as polarisation and algorithmic bias. In Between Echo and Resonance, Nina processed 37 million Reddit posts to create an interactive typographic tool in which letterforms lose colour and legibility as digital echo chambers tighten.
