The hauntingly eloquent arrangements on Gil Scott-Heron /Jamie xx’s album I’m New Here has seen it become more or less glued to our studio speakers this past couple of weeks. Fittingly, the video for stand-out track I’ll Take Care of You has an equally affecting presence through an astute collaboration between Caviar director AG Rojas and photographer Jamie James Medina. The video tracks the poignant story of a young mother and boxer preparing for a fight, and is one to digest slowly and savour.
