Is yours a hook, or a long one? Perhaps it’s knobby? Whatever your schnozz, Alessandro Apai’s probably illustrated it thanks to a lovely commission for Zeit Wissen. His work is delineated in a minimal colour palette of red, white and black with simple lines that manage to convey both nuanced expressions and hilarity. This is just one of a number of beautiful new projects on the Barcelona-based illustrator’s site since he created some wonderful work to illustrate our My First LDF piece for 2015’s London Design Festival. Other highlights include some personal work that takes a close-up look at one ginger man and his beard, and a series for American magazine WWD which looks at the baffling world of trade shows.
