Updates from top-notch illustrator and 2014 graduate David Doran

It’s not often that skill so outrightly belies someone’s years, as with young illustrator David Doran. One of our talented Graduates from 2014, we thought it was high time to check in with him a year on. Seeing as David’s client list was already incredibly accomplished whilst still a student, it comes as no surprise that he’s been flying high since finishing his degree and setting up a studio in Falmouth. He’s been busy working on innumerable editorial and book projects for Mr Porter, Monocle, and The Wall Street Journal, to name but a few, and recent commissions for The New York Times Book Review and Wired UK only confirm he continues to consistently produce sound and solid work. Favouring a dusky palette and soft finish, his impeccably-finished editorial illustrations are exemplary in their field.
