After a brilliant first year celebrating inspiring creative businesses, the Top Creative Companies Awards is back for its sophomore year and applications are now officially open!

Created by our jobs board, If You Could Jobs, these awards champion studios, brands and businesses that prioritise supportive, forward-thinking environments for their creative teams. Whether you’re a design studio, agency or in-house team, this is your opportunity to be recognised as one of the creative industry’s leading workplaces in the UK.

This year, Top Creative Companies is building on what it started. The awards team is working with research partners, Part+Sum, to hone in on valuable employee feedback, dissecting what excellence is across Culture, Craft and Leadership. This will manifest in a general report alongside the winners announcement – complete with topline insights on the creative workplace landscape, available to everyone for free.

Each winning entrant will not only be able to proudly call themselves a Top Creative Company, but also be featured on It’s Nice That in front of over 2 million readers. You will also get a Comprehensive Report and an exclusive online seminar for deeper insights into policy benchmarking and the in-depth research behind the report. Lastly, you also win an Individual Evaluation Framework Report, catered to your company directly from your team’s feedback – a prize worth £898!

How does this all work? The application process is straightforward and insightful, working with research partners, Part + Sum, for a methodology specifically made for creative teams. This consists of two parts:

  1. A short employer survey on current policies, practices and general industry sentiment.
  2. An anonymous employee survey about your company’s culture, craft and leadership.

The team will collate results and announce the winner in October. Full application details can be found here.

This year, we’re also offering optional reports for those who want to benchmark their business, whether or not you win:

  • Comprehensive Report: covering pay, benefits, working hours and policies across all participating creative companies and what employees prioritise.
  • Individual Evaluation Framework Report: anonymised feedback from your own employees on how your company measures up with organisations of a similar size.

If you’ve completed the application process entirely for both Part 1 and Part 2, you get a Comprehensive Report for free and Individual Evaluation Framework Report for your own team's insights at a nominal admin fee of £99.

Both reports will be available to purchase separately and can provide valuable insight whether you enter or not. You will be charged a higher fee if purchased outside of the application cohort. You must be a UK based company operating for over a year and have a total headcount of ten. Entry is completely free.
