When we post work on It’s Nice That we don’t really know what that can lead to, but it’s always terrific to hear that creative collaborations have sprung from an article on the site. It’s even more terrific to hear of a coming together like this between Wild Beasts and animator and illustrator Mattis Dovier as part of The Jameson Works.

The band saw a post we did on Mattis back in the summer and like us they were blown away by his GIF-making genius. The Jameson Works is all about facilitating creative collaborations and Wild Beasts were super-keen to work with Mattis so between them they came up with the idea of a GIF novel to accompany a couple of unreleased Wild Beasts’ songs.

To mark this exciting creative crossover, we’re hosting a live Q&A with the band at The Looking Glass on Tuesday 25 November. It will be an interactive, informal discussion where the band will be sharing stories and taking us through their creative process over a drink or two. There are just 40 tickets available for the evening and they cost just £5 including Jameson drinks.

Tickets are available right now over on the Eventbrite tickets page so come join us for a uniquely inspiring evening with one of the UK’s most interesting bands.
