Monochrome comics and stark line work from Dutch illustrator Lennard Kok

Date
11 April 2016

Dutch illustrator Lennard Kok’s panelled illustrations and comics are wonderfully minimalist and witty. We featured his work last summer where his monochrome illustrations were denser and crowded with geometric characters. In this latest update, Lennard has stripped back his images even more, using clean line work and stark details to tell the story. His one page comics are neat and eloquent, and often with a surreal edge. Other projects include a comic zine that reveals the creative process of a sculptor in Lennard’s well-observed, signature style.
