Stacy Fisher

My favorite rising star sculptor is Brooklyn-based Stacy Fisher. Her work is formal, poetic, and theatrical. She combines representation with abstraction and kitsch with modernism. You can feel what Fisher is saying even if you can’t complete the thought. She has upcoming shows at the Bronx River Art Center, at Cleopatra’s in Greenpoint, and at Nudashank in Baltimore.
