What's On: Thieves Like Us

Date
19 October 2011

It’s been a while since we featured some straight-up hard-hitting type on the site, so if you’ve been craving a font fix, prepare to be satisfied. Thieves Like Us is a beautiful typographic collaboration between artist Dino Sanchez and Commercial Type, a London-based type foundry. Fashioned from nails, fluorescent tubes and illuminated boxes, each piece utilises a unique medium but its graphic identity is the result of Marian, a bespoke sans-serif created by Commercial that reduces typographic designs to basic skeletal forms. Thieves Like Us is on display at 29 Kenmare Street, NY until October 23.
