“We’re heading to Whole Festival, a queer music festival in Germany with an incredible lineup of over 150 DJs. We designed the identity this year, so it feels extra special to finally experience it in person after working on it for a while.

We’re also really excited about the upcoming Marcel Duchamp retrospective at MoMA. It’s the first major one in the US in over 50 years, which is a big deal. It also feels incredibly ambitious, trying to make sense of such a complex body of work, so it’s one of those shows you can’t miss.”

“We’ve been reading The Future of the Art World: 38 Dialogues by András Szántó, which brings together interviews with people we deeply admire. As our practice becomes more engaged with cultural institutions, it’s been a valuable way to reflect on that relationship.

We’ve also been spending time with the Whole Earth Catalog archive, which recently went online. It’s one of those references that constantly comes up, so having access to the full archive feels pretty special.”

“Misi Pasta in Williamsburg, it’s the quieter sister restaurant to Misi and feels a bit like our spot. We always order the same spaghetti, every time.

Braseiro da Gávea for Brazilian comfort food, always. Picanha with broccoli rice and farofa, which we could eat forever and never get tired of.”

“We’re watching the new season of Jury Duty right now (called Company Retreat). It is a comedy ‘reality’ tv show, where everyone is an actor except one (innocent) guy. As the name suggests, this one happens during a company retreat where several absurd situations take place.

We’re also about to watch Resurrection now that it’s finally on streaming. Bi Gan’s films always feel dreamlike and immersive, and this one looks especially ambitious. The trailer is completely hypnotic, so we’ve been curious for a while.”
