Seletti: Maurizio Cattelan’s Middle Finger atop a Mini

A procession of floats, stilt walkers, dancers and drummers made its way through Milan this week as part of the city’s first Design Pride Parade. In a surreal spectacle for Milan Design Week, the event featured Gufram’s cacti on bikes, Maurizio Cattelan’s Middle Finger atop a Mini, and slightly eerie giant faces designed by Fabio Novembre, sipping on Pepsi straws.

The parade, which 3,000 people attended, was organised by Seletti and culminated in a big street party, run together with Disaronno. Other event partners included Toiletpaper magazine, Tempo, Pepsi, Gufram, and Radio Deejay, which provided the music.

It was part of the 5Vie design district, sponsored by the City of Milan.
