Studio Moross has unveiled its visual identity for Parklife festival 2017, refreshing the rebrand it completed last year with a whole new set of illustrations based on the 80s. It features intricate visual references to everything from Back to the Future to the BBC’s test card, and a pink, orange and purple colour scheme to celebrate the era.
Guy Field has illustrated the campaign, which includes ads, posters and an animated line-up announcement film. As part of the team at Studio Moross, Guy also worked with Andy Baker on the animation and Project Simply on the website.
“This year we transported Parklife back through time to the 1980s. From floppy discs to Deloreans, we’ve filled it with all those classic tropes of the decade, looking to iconic films, games, TV shows and music of the era for inspiration.”
Meanwhile the animated video is “about a rad dude travelling through space and time to defeat the evil undead pyramid cyclops”.
