I probably shouldn’t stray too far from the roost at first, so heres (architecturally trained) Tom Sachs. Through his work he meticulously recreates objects, buildings and spacecraft to scale, whilst also distorting details to incorporate his own humorous narrative. Learn studio-etiquette from his ‘Ten Bullets’, and pay attention to his 2007 Space Program project in the Beverly Hills Gagosian, where he re-staged a complete lunar mission and presents an amazing collection of accessories, technology, narrative and even (apparently to the curators horror) some moon rock..
