See supermarket roofs differently with master architectural photographer Eric Forey
Photographer Eric ‘Kala’ Forey is a native of south-eastern France and has made a career capturing his surroundings in a compellingly geometric fashion. Fascinated by the abstract shapes and forms created by man-made structures, Eric sees the rare beauty of everyday architecture. Using a honed mix of natural talent, photographic skill and saint-like patience he transforms the angular, and often unattractive, architectural features of southern France into compositions of aesthetic perfection, rich with vibrant colour. His singular take on the Photoshop process means his images have been retouched in the most unusual, convoluted fashion – which is undoubtedly why they appear so unique. Zoom out and you’re looking at just another building, but Eric’s sophisticated eye transforms it into something utterly ethereal.
