In a world where creative projects are all too often viewed on computer screens, Paul Cocksedge Studio understands that scale matters. Paul and fellow Royal College of Art graduate Joana Pinho (the pair studied under Ron Arad among others) have a string of uber-impressive installations on their CV, huge, ambitious projects which nevertheless strike consistently personal notes. There’s a focus on light in many of the works, including this pictured piece Bourrasque for the town hall in Lyon, but the giant mistletoe in Kiss shows a dynamic and diverse studio unafraid to take risks either in form or function.
