Today the spotlight swings to London-based Spanish talent Chino Moya, the next name on the UK Music Video Young Director of the Year shortlist. His supernatural take on a suburban wilderness for Supersubmarina is the stand-out piece in his portfolio, but I’m pretty taken by this video for the L.A. track Hands as well, and his combination of strong, bold visual choices and unusual narrative will stand him in great stead whatever happens at next week’s award ceremony.
