Google has a good track record for realising their services in the real world with a certain panache – who can forget this superb Google Analytics in Real Life video – and the latest effort by continues that venerable tradition. Venables Bell & Partners have recreated Google Maps on a giant gyroscopic model which allows two players to explore the world via the famous little blue dot we all know and love from the service. It’s fun, it’s creative and it makes its point beautifully – a surefire sign of success.
