Margaret Howell has released its campaign images for AW17, shot by the brand’s stalwart photographer Alasdair McLellan. Alasdair worked with stylist Beat Bolliger, known for his vast portfolio of work for Vogue internationally.

The shoot stars models Kim Noorda and Max Townsend, photographed entirely in black and white in central London, EC3. The series of images has a classic and sophisticated aesthetic, entirely in tune with the brand, and uses the surrounding architecture to heighten the strong shadows and high contrast in the visuals.

This is the latest Margaret Howell campaign shot by Alasdair since he began working with the brand in 2011, each time venturing to a different British location.

Earlier this year, the two creatives celebrated their ongoing collaboration with an exhibition at Margaret Howell’s London store. Alasdair selected 40 photographs to display, including some of the recent campaigns and others from an earlier collaborative work in 2004.
