ArtReview announces the 2015 Power 100

Date
22 October 2015

The new issue of ArtReview and its annual ranking of the contemporary art world’s most influential figures hits newsstands today. The power list compiled by a 16-person international jury has been running for the last 14 years and is one of the most established rankings in the art world. It is topped this year by husband and wife team Iwan and Manuela Wirth. The co-presidents of Hauser & Wirth are the only art dealers to take the number one spot since Larry Gagosian, and are credited with changing the model of selling and promoting art.

The 2015 edition also sees Chinese artist Ai Weiwei rise from fifteenth to second place on the list, followed by gallerist David Zwirner, co-curators of the Serpentine Galleries Hans Ulrich Obrist and Julia Peyton-Jones, and the director of Tate Nicholas Serota.

The full list can be seen here.
