Tickets are now available for Nicer Tuesdays London, on 7 July at EartH Hackney, featuring another selection of brilliant creatives curated just for you!
We’ll be welcoming Lily Kong, the illustrator known for her vibrant landscape works which explore emotion and drama through movement and setting. As well as that, Alfie Whiteman will be taking to the stage – an ex-Tottenham professional goalkeeper turned photographer who’s been signed to Somesuch and currently has an exhibition, A Loan – all about his time spent on loan rural Sweden – at Oof Gallery.
Multimedia artist Jazz Grant will be joining the stage too, hot off the heels of her group show Are We Really Here? – which includes a recent evolution in style informed by a print course at RCA. Finally, last but not least, the motion studio Daisy Chain, co-directed by Harry Butt (Butt Studio) and Connor Campbell (CC Studio), will be rounding up our evening. The studio specialise in motion design, animation and visual content, working with brands such as SanDisk, The New York Times and Nike, not to mention artists like Jamie XX and Tame Impala!

Lily Kong is an illustrator and artist known for creating beautiful, brightly coloured landscape paintings. Documenting peaceful, colour-drenched scenes that play with geometry and setting, her sceneries are charged with emotion and yearning for an unplugged world. The artist will be returning to the stage for the first time since 2021 – since then, her style and practice has evolved, and she was part of It's Nice That’s collaboration with DROOL, getting artists’ work we love on people’s wall.
Alfie Whiteman is a photographer, film director and former professional goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspurs who captures creative work at the intersection of community, identity and sports culture. Representing the rare transition from athlete to photographer, the artist subverts cliches with emotionally taut photographs, all the while dropping in moments of whimsical humour. Alfie will be talking about trading the pitch for the lens, his recent signing to Somesuch and the launch of his debut solo exhibition and photobook, A Loan.
Jazz Grant is a multimedia artist whose work shows the vast potential of physical materials. Drawing on her dual heritage, her collage art explores identity, personal history and memory across residencies at The V&A as well as creating permanent murals at Hackney Central Library. As well as that, the artist has worked with brand names such as Gucci, Burberry, Hermés and Adidas using textile processes like hand embroidery, mixed media collage and stop motion film with mesmerising outcomes.
Harry Butt and Connor Campbell, the co-director duo behind motion studio Daisy Chain, will be sharing the stage to take us through their dazzling portfolio of projects. Specialising in motion design, animation and visual content, the studio works with brands such as SanDisk, The New York Times and Nike with the Paris Olympics, as well as artists such as Jamie XX and Tame Impala! Daisy Chain’s vast body of work is evidence of just how important motion design has become over the past decade.
